
This figure, from HP8566B spectrum analyzer, shows the oscillation frequency when coarse tune voltage varies from VCT=0 to VCT=-20V. It can be seen the power level is about 3dB change from fL(7.8GHz) to fH(8.7GHz) This is already a good result. However, if a really flat output power is needed, we have to hook up with a C-class power amplifier, which will be designed in the near future.
